Class 1/3

Let’s Get Sewing is a three-week beginner sewing course focused on the very basics. You’ll learn all about the magic of a domestic zig-zag machine. If you don’t know what that is, then this is the right class for you!

In the PeaceLoveSew.co studio, we invite you to bring your own sewing machine or use one of ours. We have new Janome signature machines as well as an eclectic assortment of vintage machines. All are beginner-friendly and easy to use.

This class meets on three consecutive Saturdays in August at 1 pm. Classes are 1 hr 15 minutes. Please arrive 15 minutes before your class time.

Setting up, threading, & troubleshooting

March/ April:

Week/ class Two: Let’s get stitchin’
Types of stitches and when to use them

Week/ class Three: My first project <3
Use your newly found skills to create a super amazing & simple project.

March/ April:
Thursday, March 26 @ noon
Saturday, April 11 @ 6pm

Each student receives an additional 1 hr of one-on-one time during the three-week course period. You may schedule 15 min-1hr sessions. Students may also drop in on any class at their level or below as long as there is room in the class.
