Let’s Hem It, is a two hour workshop focused hemming denim while maintaining the original hem. You’ll learn how to adjust the length of your jeans while keeping the factory hem intact. We will also (if time permits) talk about ways to alter the fit at the waist line.
Please bring your own blue jeans to work on. If you do not have a pair you’d like to fix, just let us know and we will be happy to supply you with a pair to work on.
If you have other items you want to learn how to hem please feel free to bring those with as well. However, this specific workshop is focused on Denim.
In the PeaceLoveSew.co studio we invite you to bring your own sewing machine or use one of ours. We have new Janome signature machines as well as an eclectic assortment of vintage machines. All are beginner friendly and easy to use.
